Good news for those of you who have been waiting for this feature: it’s now available! Indeed, a new update for Pokémon GO was released on Saturday, bringing the game to Ver. It allows you to select one of your Pokémon as your buddy: it will then appear alongside your Trainer avatar (on the profile screen), and it will also allow you to get various bonuses. A few days ago, Niantic announced that a new feature called Buddy Pokémon would soon be added to Pokémon GO.
